Departmental Budget Votes 2026/27

The Free State Legislature will convene the Departmental Budget Votes 2026/27 from 21 April 2026 to 14 May 2026 across the province. Members of the media and the public are invited to follow these important sittings as the Legislature considers departmental budgets and strengthens accountability in the use of public funds.

In terms of political representation the Free State Legislature comprises of thirty members elected in terms of the tenets of national legislation – meaning, there are thirty seats in the Free State Legislature to be proportionally occupied by thirty elected political party representatives.
