FREE STATE LEGISLATURE
BID 02-2026: SUPPLY OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) EQUIPMENT
The Free State Legislature hereby gives notice that BID 02-2026, advertised with a closing date of 05 October 2026, has been cancelled in terms of the applicable Supply Chain Management Regulations.
This decision follows a review of the bid specifications by the Bid Specification Committee and has been approved by the Accounting Officer.
Prospective bidders who submitted documents in response to this bid may collect their original submissions from the SCM Directorate, 41 Charlotte Maxeke Street, Southern Life Plaza Building, 5th Floor, South Wing, Bloemfontein, during office hours.
The Legislature reserves the right to re-advertise this requirement in due course and will not be liable for any costs incurred by prospective bidders in preparing or submitting bids under this process.

The Legislature has appointed AlexForbes to perform actuarial calculations in terms of GRAP 25 for disclosure in its 2025-2026 financial statements. AlexForbes is currently the administrator of the Pension Fund of Political Office-bearers and thus the reason for appointment.
