As we gather with family and loved ones to celebrate Easter Season, I extend warm and heartfelt greetings to all the people of the Free State.
This Easter season brings with it a powerful message of hope, renewal, sacrifice, and resurrection. It reminds us that even after the darkest of times, light and new beginnings are possible. In the spirit of Easter, we are called to reflect on the values of compassion, forgiveness, unity, and selfless service values that remain essential as we continue to build a prosperous, inclusive, and caring Free State.
Over the past year, our Province has faced significant challenges, yet the resilience and spirit of our people continue to inspire us. As the Free State Legislature, we remain committed to upholding the Constitution, promoting accountable governance, and ensuring that every citizen has a voice in shaping our shared future. Let this Easter be a time for all of us across political, cultural, and religious lines to renew our commitment to working together for the common good.
As many of us travel to be with loved ones during this season, I urge all road users to exercise caution, patience, and responsibility. Let us protect one another by obeying traffic laws, avoiding reckless driving, and ensuring that every journey is taken with care. Road safety is not only a personal responsibility but a collective duty to preserve life and safeguard the joy of Easter for all families.
To every family, every community, and every believer across the length and breadth of the Free State: may the joy of the risen Christ fill your homes with peace, your hearts with hope, and your lives with renewed purpose. May this Easter bring healing to those who are hurting, strength to those who are weary, and blessings to all.
