Hon. Oupa Khoabane, Chairperson of Public Accounts and Finance, together with Co-Chairperson Hon. David Van Vuuran of Public Works, Roads, Transport and Human Settlements, chaired a sitting of the Joint Portfolio Committees today. The Committee met with various provincial departments to account for financial expenditure and to receive updates on departmental spending and budget performance. MECs who appeared before the Committee included COGTA and Human Settlements MEC Hon. Saki Mokoena, Finance, Economic Development and Tourism MEC Hon. Toto Makume, Community Safety, Roads and Transport MEC Hon. Jabu Mbalula, and Public Works and Infrastructure MEC Hon. Dibolelo Mance.
